When they found our setup and toys, the models freaked. They were vanilla and it was quite a struggle for me — especially since not one of them spoke English and we needed to go through an interpreter. Every day was a new challenge since we hadn’t ever seen any of those places ahead, and we’d need to formulate a viable shoot idea . It was a terrific learning experience.
